Rosa Ortega is an R&D Scientist working at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) in the Fluids Engineering Branch since 2013. She has a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering and a master’s degree in materials science. During her time at CNL she has worked on mechanical components testing, coatings for high energy applications, and most recently in machine learning and probabilistic analysis. Rosa firmly believes that nuclear power is essential for addressing climate change and enhancing energy security.
