Matthew Przybylowski is a driven and accomplished young professional with a passion for nuclear
energy and sustainability. As a first generation Canadian, he is set to graduate from McMaster University
in the spring of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics and Management, specializing in
Nuclear Engineering. With over 5 years of involvement with the North American Young Generation in
Nuclear, Matthew currently serves as the Canadian Operating Officer for the organization and is a
dedicated climate and nuclear energy activist. He has moderated and participated in numerous panel
discussions, working with the Canadian Nuclear Association, Society of United Professionals, and the
Nuclear Energy Agency to name a few. His passion for nuclear advocacy extends past the nuclear
industry itself shown in his participation with the delivery team at the 2022 Global Clean Energy Action
Forum. He has also been a successful rugby player, serving as vice captain for the McMaster Men's
Varsity Rugby team. Matthew's commitment to his passions and his community is further demonstrated
by his participation in tree planting and reforestation efforts in British Columbia and Alberta. As he takes
the next step in his career, Matthew will join Candu Energy Inc. in May 2023 as a Project Coordinator in
the Engineering IP and Technology department.
