    Kim Brown is the President & CEO of Sunlit Strategic, where she has followed her passion for next generation nuclear concepts that will lead to a Net Zero economy - small modular reactors, hydrogen and clean fuel production as a complement to nuclear, and the commercialization of fusion technology. Sunlit Strategic provides clarity consulting and venture catalyst services to a variety of clean energy clients.

    Kim has held various technical and strategic roles that have been driven by a passion for innovative thinking, collaboration, and breaking down barriers to implementation. She has enjoyed working on multidisciplinary teams, bridging technical and commercial concepts, and has been successful in developing value frameworks and execution plans that can articulate the value of investments from the boardroom to the shop floor. Through various roles at Bruce Power, Kim gained experience in developing plans that leverage existing assets, supported the expansion of the business in medical isotopes, and is proud to have been on the team that secured the transaction with the IESO to extend operations for decades to come.

    Kim holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Physics & Management, with focus areas in Nuclear and Optics, and a Master of Business Administration Degree in the Management of Innovation & New Technology; both from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Kim recently earned a certificate in Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation & Application from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management, where the focus of her final paper was to explore the notion of using blockchain technology to track the location of nuclear fuel for safeguards purposes.
